At Elanvital Coaching, I help you understand and transform the subconscious patterns, emotional experiences, and protective identities that may be quietly shaping the way you think, choose, relate, and respond.
Because lasting change isn't simply about trying harder to change your behavior. It's about understanding what has been driving that behavior in the first place.
Many of the patterns we call self-sabotage began as protection. Over time, experiences teach us what we believe we need to do—or who we need to be—to feel safe, accepted, loved, successful, or worthy. Those subconscious rules can continue influencing our lives long after we've outgrown the circumstances that created them.
My work helps you bring those patterns into awareness, release emotional barriers that may be keeping you connected to the past, and develop the self-trust and self-leadership to respond from who you are today.
As those old patterns loosen, you reconnect with your élan vital—the inner force that fuels growth, creativity, vitality, authentic expression, and meaningful change.
The goal isn't to become someone else. It's to stop letting the past unconsciously decide who you need to be.
My work began with a question that has followed me throughout my career:
Why can we know exactly what we need to change and still struggle to change it?
My first exploration of that question began through health.
In 1999, fertility challenges led me beyond conventional approaches and into nutrition and lifestyle medicine. The changes I made transformed my own health and sparked what would become more than two decades of study and work in nutrition, wellness, behavior change, and personal transformation.
But working with clients taught me something important: information alone doesn't create lasting change.
People often know what they should do. The more interesting question is why something inside them keeps pulling them back toward familiar patterns.
That question eventually led my work beyond nutrition and behavior into self-sabotage, subconscious beliefs, emotional healing, identity, and the protective patterns we develop throughout our lives.
Today, my approach integrates those disciplines to help clients understand not only what they're doing, but what may be driving it beneath the surface.
I believe many of the behaviors we judge most harshly in ourselves once served a purpose. People-pleasing may have preserved connection. Perfectionism may have protected against criticism. Staying small may have felt safer than being seen. Control may have created stability when life felt uncertain.
Understanding that doesn't mean remaining there.
It gives us a place from which to choose differently.
My role isn't to tell you who you should become. It's to help you recognize what you've been carrying, understand the rules and identities that may have been unconsciously leading you, and develop the self-awareness and self-trust to consciously lead yourself forward.
That is where lasting transformation begins.
